watched this for the forst time in YEARS this week. What a load of unbelievable claptrap is was, dreadful writing (do people really talk like that?) dreadful acting all round.

She & Jack had a fling way back when & she was hoping to rekindle it, I think. I don't care that Cara's deaf & it *would* be ok, except that she's such a badly-written, bloody annoying character (as is Aoife). Again, imo.

I disagree. I don't want to be subject to a "campaign" when I'm supposed to be entertained. If the BBC wants to encourage people to learn sign language they can dedicate a programme to it on BBC4. I can then choose whether to watch it or not.

I haven't watched it since Clarissa, for it was she, decided to go and do investigation in the field and was shown as a somewhat dodgy silhouette bouncing across the screen, apparently traversing extremely rough terrain in her wheelchair requiring the viewer to suspend disbelief in the interest of inclusivity.
It's pretty grim fare.
