i'm struggling to lose weight, i have an excess of 2 stone, and for the last 4 weeks have cut my calories to 1350 and upped my excercise. before i was doing 8000 steps a day, now i do my normal 8000 steps and either a 3 mile tredmill walk or an hour aerobic workout. what i cannot understand is that i have only lost a few ponds over the 4 weeks, and my body fat has not decreased at all, yet i have'nt eaten any fat for the month? i'm happy to lose slowly, but after all the effort i am putting in i am getting frustrated... any ideas??

Firstly, well done for all the effort! It will pay off! At the end of the day, you're definitely doing all the right things. Some people take a while for the results to show! You may find you suddenly start seeing the pounds fall off very soon (a month isn't that long) It's not healthy to lose more than 1 to 2 pounds per week, as you'll lose lean muscle instead of the fat you want to lose, and also, if you lose it too quickly, you can put it on very quickly unless you maintain your high exercise/low fat regime, which is impractical for many people! It might be a good idea to start writing down everything you eat and make sure it's balanced, healthy stuff! 1350 calories is fine, but make sure you've got lots of fruit and veg in that! Try eating little and often to keep your blood sugars on an even keel! Good luck!
