Do you always forget how to spell correctly?
Dilemma was one of my words! I could've sworn it was spelt DILEMNA.

I have found that my spelling has got worse as I age although I am still jarred whenever I see a misspelled (misspelt?) word.

I can spell 'niece' perfectly well unless it is the answer to a crossword clue.
that indeed is a dilemma

wd it be easier if you thought of it as a trilemma wivva leg knocked off?
Gauge. I even had to check before I posted, is it au or up.
Haha that's autocorrect - au or ua
For me it's occasion and all its variations...2 c's and 2 s's, 1 c and 2 s's, or 2 c's and 1 s...? Never looks right.
My spelling drops off on longer words, I was just saying this to my Auntie Disestablishmentarianism.
Lots of people struggle with spelling Savile.

Apparently if you point out to certain people that Savile only has the one L, you are a supporter of all things paedophilic (is that a word?)
If I'm not concentrating I sometimes put an extra M in amount.
my spelling isnt great ("you dont say" I hear some say, but one word I can spell is Marshal as I'm a fire marshal at work and a member of the public pointed out that all our yellow jacket's had MarshaLL on the back instead of marshal. They asked if that was my name. Nearly every time I see the word now its spelt wrong
If I am not concentrating I type "address" as "adrress". My brain tells me there is a "double letter" but it is not in synch with my typing!
Not quite the same thing but I always read "Shopfitters" as "Shoplifters" and wonder why they have it painted on their van.
A bigger bloomer today: I read that the Pope Benedict was a "Hooligan" instead of "Theologian".
I allways read coworkers on here as people working with cattle

Always sounds better.
Not so much what I forget to spell correctly, more like things that I now say because of my OH.

Teefs instead of teeth.
Feets instead of feet.
Buck buck smished and coated instead of chicken strips in batter.
Eatie feeties instead of chicken legs.
Squirriel instead of cereal.
Poodle instead of strudel.
