Temperatures will start rising from tomorrow and become quite mild later in the week with loads of rain predicted. Well, where I live anyway. I'm happy after the last few days I've had with no heating or hot water. Shouldn't complain though as I'm lucky to have what I've got.

What's your forecasted weather for the coming week where you live? You happy for the snow and ice to go or will you miss it?

Rain, all next week :(

Yep, rain and loads of it, Diz. Not looking forward to walking to and from school and getting caught by a puddle wave!
11 Sunday and 13 Monday which means I will hopefully get my tatties dug up
Yeah, I'm not looking forward to going out in the chair, it has awful grip on snow/ice and the ground is still frozen over from snow several days ago. I've been picking up food for our next door neighbour who isn't very good on his feets.
Oh yeah, I sent another email yesterday and forgot to mention it. Wasn't sure if you had already thrown away the throw away email account :p
Welcoming the thaw as my street is like a skating rink. It been no fun going out to do Christmas shopping.
We've have had a bit of a thaw already today, but our forecast is much the same as yours. Can't come soon enough for me.
“ out in the chair” ? We are up to 2o today .

Will check Diz :o)

It's currently 4° in Surrey.
The forecast here in Suffolk is for around 12C on Monday (and only dropping to 11C overnight into Tuesday), with quite a bit of light rain around in the run-up to Christmas. I won't miss the cold weather!

Some predictions for global warming say that it could mean that the Gulf Stream will move away from the UK, so that we'll then get weather that's much the same as those parts of Canada that are on the same latitude as we are. If so, this is what we've got to look forward to:

The thaw is already well under way here (SE Hants), my toilet drains away again now.
The Gulf of St Lawrence freezes over in winter and it's further south the the UK.
Last night was bad and woke up to black ice. Thawing now which shows promise for the fun run we're involved in tomorrow. Well the fun bit anyway...won't be running anywhere.
