See you, Minty, have a great day xx

You can make up for it next year, Emmie. Keep doing those post-op exercises - they crucial to regaining your range of movement.
i have been up and down at least a dozen times since yesterday, will hopefully be more mobile in a few week.
Question Author
Hopefully, Emmie. Most people make a good post-op recovery.
Question Author
Emmie, have you got any carer's coming in?
no carers as such, friends have been in and out, but one works full time, and others are a lot older than me. they have offered to get shopping but i order online, though i hope the delivery driver will bring the goods in to the flat something they don't always do.
how do i get hold of carers and what would they do?
Question Author
Your GP could initiate a package of care and someone could call in a couple of times a day just to check you're okay, make you a cup of tea, help you with your activities of daily living such as getting washed and dressed. It depends on how well you're managing really.
managed to get washed and dressed, but its a humongous effort to do it, my other joints are not in great shape either, so its putting strain on right knee/hips. can't stand for long with out the crutches but you can't do many things with them, like drink coffee or eat.
Still, it could be worse as the header of this thread indicates.
Question Author
Can't argue with that, Doug.
Although very painful for you at times, you're doing very well by the sounds of it, Emmie. Each day you'll get stronger. Like LCG mentioned, do ring your GP if you feel you need extra help. All the best x
Question Author
Are you taking regular analgesia, Emmie? That's really important to control your pain and discomfort.
Sad news indeed - RIP Kirstie.
I've never seen Cheers but I have seen her in films - although I can't remember what. I always thought she was unusual looking - in a nice way. Pretty lady. Very sad.
Question Author
