Ignoring all the Cherie Blair rumours, how well did people think Gordon did yesterday? Did he differentiate himself well enough from Blair? Did he come across as sufficiently human/likeable/statesmanlike? What about the content?

Actually it was totally irrelevant, unnecessary and of no consequence. The Deputy Prime Minister is the person who has shadowed the Prime Minister, and when the Prime Minister goes the Deputy Prime Minister should step up automatically.
