the cricket went brilliantly for England.

On the political side ... well, we're currently worse off than ever. Two competent operators have left; the liar-in-chief is still there and about to appoint, I can only imagine, second-raters to the jobs. So I'm hopeful rather than happy about that. But tomorrow is another day!
Not happy exactly but relieved that I wasn't on my regular run north today.

Terrible accident nearish to Inverness with three dead so far and another four in hospital.

I repotted some plants and I expect them to thank me by putting lots of new shoots out. Also, the sun was so strong late afternoon...my lounge felt hot and it felt like summer. So far it's felt like October.

I have a couple of stamp albums of stamps to sort out so that they can be sold in 1kg bags.

The stamps are glued onto each side of the paper and I was not sure if soaking them in water would release the glue.

Last night I soaked a few pages and the stamps just floated away. I am happy that I will be able to get them all bagged up before my next shift on Friday.

who buys stamps by the kilo, wolf?
There seems to be a market for them jno. The British ones sell for £35 for a kg and the international ones for £65 a kg. There are three hundred million stamps in a kg.

I think that people who actually 'know' about stamps sift through them for stamps of value. We have regular buyers.

do you drop the odd Penny Black in a bag to keep them interested?
