I've just downloaded a game from the Packard Bell free game trial, and I've got a message on my moniter saying "Input Not Supported". What does this mean, and can I do anything about it?. I've downloaded other games frmo the same source, and I've never had that message before.

It means that the game has switched the output from your video card to a resolution, colour depth, or refresh rate that your monitor cannot display.
If the game has a settings screen which allows you to change any of the above, then yes, you can do something about it, otherwise, short of replacing the monitor, probably not.
