I have travelled to Oslo from Newcastle with Ryanair and it was a very enjoyable flight. On time, clean comfortable flight with pleasant staff. Surely I can't be the only one!!!
I flew to Spain earlier this year. The seats weren't as comfy as Virgins, you have to buy all your food and drink, and there aren't allocated seats. But hey, what do you expect for 99p one way and 14.99 the other way! I certainly wouldn't like to travel long haul with them, but short haul is fine.
Flew with them to Ireland around three years ago. No problems other than it being the dirtiest plane I've ever been on.
I flew to Rome with them in May, I was aware of the no seat allocation so that wasn't a problem, the check-in opened early, the flight was on time and I had taken my own food and drink for the journey. Seats no more cramped than other airlines. I would use them again , it is a no frills airline and you get what you pay for.
I couldn't care less if my flights were on planes with one wing, one engine, no seats and outside toiets. As long as they get me from A to B, on time and cheaply, I'm happy.

In my opinion, Ryanair are the world's best airline (and I've flown with most of the 'big boys', like Qantas). 2p return Stansted-Dublin, 98p return Stansted-Genoa (and dozens of other flights for under a tenner return) seems great to me.

LOL Ryanair-world's best airline. Madness LOL now Ive heard it all. Here's hoping you dont end up having any problems with them in future. The only good thing they have is price. That is all.
I agree with chris, what does anybody expect when you can fly to anywhere cheaper than getting youself a cab home on saturday night?!!if you want all the food and novelties included your going to have to pay for it!dont book with them its simple, then theres more seats for us peasants!!
