I have had to request a call back because they must be busy after spending 15 minutes waiting for an operative i did inform the dial options though it was not an emergency or life and death so that is probably why also

You did the right thing. The neighbour of a friend of my husbands was in the same situation as you. She reported not seeing the friend, unfortunately she had passed away but the police were able to rescue her dog. Luckily everything has ended well for your neighbour.

Maybe you should knock on his door and let him know you were concerned, and that you are glad to see him.
He might be happy to know he's got an observant neighbour.

I dont know where he has been but the lady is here now also maybe i was right in my theory she went back to her home country for a while i dunno maybe family got covid or suttin and he went out to be with her for love for a couple of months
