Valuation Of Vase

I bought a vase in a charity shop. It caught my eye it was in a locked display cabinet. Took a bit of a gamble the markings don't tell me a lot
Does anyone know if I send some pictures if there is anywhere online who could tell me anything about it and possible valuation please.

I was browsing on eBay and Amazon and found lots of things people were selling and I have the exact same thing and had no idea they were of any value.
Might be worth a look?

BTW: Nearly all local auction houses (and, indeed, many of the major auction firms) will give you a free valuation on anything you take into them. They're obviously hoping that you'll then sell through them but it's not a condition of the service. (The only restriction is that they won't give you a valuation in writing for free. If you need such a valuation, e.g. for insurance purposes, they'll charge a fee for the service).

I once took a few items into Bonham's prestigious auction house in London and asked for a valuation. Within a couple of minutes I was greeted by one of the experts from the Antiques Road show, whom people queue for hours to see when the show is visiting their area, who was happy to give me loads of his time and provide me with free valuations of my items.

If you’re on fb check out antiquesarena. …. It’s such a helpful site started by an trader - (he begun buying n swelling from boot fairs, progressing to antiques and his knowledge is now immense! And a really nice guy!) he has a shop in mountain ash, Wales. I bet if you don’t have fb you cld email him a pic. His knowledge is amazing

Are there any markings on it? I have a few pieces of pottery and I searched the internet for any markings on them, it gave me a starting point at least.

I'm no expert on pottery but I've done quite a bit of buying and selling at auction. That appears to me to be a mass-produced 19th century majolica vase, which might get £10 to £20 if auctioned on eBay but is just as likely (if not more so) to fail to attract any bids. (Sorry!)

Don't order your new yacht, based upon your profit from the vase, just yet ;-)

7068 is the pattern mark
