I love rain in spring/summer.

Torrential downpours reminds me of my dad. He used to pick us up and chuck us out the house (all fun, we loved it) and he wouldn't let us in until we'd ran round his van.
Any moment now looking at the angry greyish purple sky.
Ummm that sounds like a lovely and fun memory.
It's pretty vile here too. OH and FIL have been working out the back all day putting down the insulation, damp proof course and underfloor heating ready for the screeding to be done on Tuesday. He said his fingers and toes were numb by the time he decided to call it a day.

As I understand it the weather is going to get warmer from Tuesday onwards...
No thanks had one yesterday
No thanks :-). We seem to have had nothing but rain and wind for ages. When my kids were at school, we seemed to get a heatwave, pretty much every Easter holidays. This year, I think there has been one day so far, that I have gone to work at 8am, without a jacket.
I blame Brexit.
Same here near Exeter, Pasta.
We were due to play at a garden party today.
I was looking forward to a piece of cake too ;o(

My boots have welded to my feet.
I was hoping the strong wind would blow my old shed down and save me bashing it to bits but no such luck. It's still standing but the wretched fence is leaning a bit.
I suppose that'll be the next job when the weather improves.
Pouring down in West Berkshire, going to Teignmouth tomorrow, hope it’s better however change of scene after many months. Happy, happy
