Hello Abers
Does anyone know where or how I can find out the value of a medal I have? Either by looking at pictures on a legitimate website, or a reputable website that I can send pictures to TIA

Thank you, both of those sites might be useful. I was given a medal & a coin by an old man when I was a child of 10 years old. At the time I didn't really understand exactly what they were but the old couple didn't have any living family and my family were as close as we could get, caring for them, doing shopping, housework etc....they then moved into a home and it was just before that happened, I was given them. The medal has no ribbon, it is copper coloured and in it's own case. It has his name on the side of the medal but we always referred to them as 'mum & dad' they were in their nineties, we loved them dearly. She was blind & he was deaf but they got on blissfully
shame it has no ribbon as that;s part of the value i guess.

yes Emmie, it probably is but it's more sentimental value to me, it's just out of interest, i'd like to know their value
good luck with your search.
