sorry to bore you with this but im happy ......son was given a place in a hostel during lock down ,it seems to have worked wonders on him he is on a very low dose of subutex.is looking after himself and has now been offered a flat .he is nervous but really looking forward to living in a decent place .he has been to see us a few times and im getting a glimpse of my son back .this is such a turning point for him ,just hope he has the strength to stay this way .he has had chances before with rehab etc but he does seem different now.

thankyou all xx he sounds so positive even more so than when he was in rehab ,mr mally and i are really hopeful at the moment xx

Just remember Mally, that the vast majority of addicts have lapses.
You lose many battles to win a war.
But this DOES sound hopeful.

Its threads like yours Mally, that make me realise what I must have put my own parents through when my drinking got out of control,
Bottle of vodka for breakfast, in and out of the justice system, psych hospitals etc.
