The Book Thief

Did anyone watch the film the other night called "The Book Thief"If so, what did you think of it? I recorded it, but havent watched it yet, but I thought it sounded promising.

Looking at the reviews on IMDb, it's clearly 'a Marmite thing'. i.e. some reviewers award it 9 or 10 out of 10, saying it's an absolute classic, whereas others (especially those who've read the book) only score it as 1, 2 or 3 out of 10, regarding it as extremely poor.

So the chances are that you'll either love it or loathe it!

I read the book first and then watched the film. I found the film explained the book, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Saw it in 2013 I think it was. Very good.

My sister bought me the book after Naomi recommended it, but I ended up giving it to my SIL as can't find the time these days but film was great.
