If I get there , I’ll stand with my back to the sea and wave, just for you LJ, I love Tankerton by the way, have lovely memories of visiting my sister and her family , my brother in law owned two businesses in Whitstable, one was frozen food and the other an electrical shop ( in the early 60s) he was very forward thinking and built his own Hovercraft
Thank you Bobbie. That would be wonderful. Saw a couple of the in early Feb but nothing since. Have spoken on phone but not the same is it.
Question Author
No it isn’t , if I get there , I’ll do a massive wave and a shout out to them LJ
Thanks Bobbie. I'm just a silly soppy mother hen.

I'm not...
Shoota - thank goodness for that. LOL
Hi Soxy, very happy for you.
I hope you get good weather and find a five star ice cream parlour.
I shouldn't be laughing but I am. Got bedsheets out of washing machine just as it started to rain. Decided to tumble dry and do mattress topper first. Apparently you shouldn't tumble dry mattress toppers. It doesnt fit the bed anymore and the tumble dryer died.

Haha, now that made me smile Barmaid :0)
Lovely county Kent, where I was born (but we moved when the V-2s started so I was too young to remember it).

I spent a week touring there (by rail and bus) a few years ago, and visited some lovely places like Canterbury, Whitstable (a bit smelly!), Margate and Broadstairs. Canterbury was my favourite.

My sister married a RAF guy and they lived in Whitstable with their 5 children, my nephews are still scattered around Kent, ones in West Sussex and a niece from there is now in Wales
Hope you get there Bobbi, it would be lovely for you all.

Me too Marval , to share a milestone with my big strapping 6foot 2inch grandson who’ll be 16 then, they said at the very least he’d have severe cerebral palsy as he was born at 24 weeks, he then developed spinal meningitis, he pulled through against all the odds stacked against him, he’s perfect in every way with a lovely caring nature
