Will her majesty ever be able to do public events again? Even if we get through this virus event to the time there is herd immunity in the population, she would have to stay away.
That is of course unless she catches it and survives.

i suspect that she will curtail her contact and maybe let Charles take on the mantle for a time.. though at 70 he is just at risk thinking about it..

She has decamped to Windsor according to the Mail, and will probably hunker down in Sandringham.
I don't think we will see her again.

Once the epidemic/pandemic passes the risk will be over.
And there is always vaccinations - eventually

The risk will certainly not be over, it may come back several times.
As you say though, a vaccine should be found.

I have to say, my concern atm is not just for one elderly woman. People are dying. Must be nice to choose which residence is most suitable though .
