Why, just why?
No way, hats n stuff are for humans, not animals
Rather pathetic, isn't it?

There was an interesting report in the press recently on this.
It seems messing with pets in this way can actually stress them greatly.
Apparently, they can feel very uncomfortable psychologically.

After all, they're not stupid. That's just us ;o)
No, not for me and my dog, thanks. I agree Builder.
No, no, no!
But I have agree with C though. Sally is a whippet/greyhound cross, and they only have a single layer of fur. By the time she reached doggie middle age, she really needed a coat.
Well, this is an American idea, so that says it all, I suppose.
Damn Yanks...;0
I think that trying to put an outfit on a cat would result in bloodshed.

I'm with Pasta - some dogs need coats and boots to keep warm.
Not a fan myself but just sometimes a Dog really owns a hat!

Oh yes of course I put a proper dog coat on Jill when it's pouring down to help keep her dry as like most dogs, she doesn't like rain pouring down on her, but that's as far as it goes.
I don't dress up dogs, but those with thin coats or no undercoat layer need coats in really cold weather - but not dresses and hats and silly outfits. Poodle type dogs have no undercoat therefore our cockerpoo has a coat and a raincoat.
agree that some doggies need a help with protection but in our house we'd have to follow the rule.

1. Catch the cat.

How on earth could you dress up a goldfish? :-)))
Ridiculous idea. If i tried to manhandled my demon possessed, part feral cat I'd end up in hospital.

Just trying to move him off the sofa to go to bed is scary enough.
