I'm not sure if this would be the proper place to put this but there are a lot of Intellectual people in here. Let's put those brains to work.
My father has one of those decks that lasts forever. It's like fake wood. Looks real nice. He has a weeping willow tree that drops leaves on it non stop.
Trying to figure out a way to clean the deck off real quick without a broom. I was thinking somthing like: air lines blowing in a certain sequence or maybe water presure. Not sure.
Any ideas let me know.

thanx

Ps: He wants to keep the Tree. :-) I'm just trying to work smarter, not harder.
A jet-wash will clean the composite decking ... it'll look like new.

every home should have a jet wash. they have a million and one uses. i use mine on the patio, the car, the kids!!

Along with the leaves, he'll find, as naz-nomad states the whole deck will look better because there is a "tread" built into the decking material that keeps it from being slick when wet, but also collects dirt and grime and when pressure washed it looks, voila new again... even renews the original shine if it's like ours...
It is feasible to fit the decking with a pattern of small air pipes driven by a small compressor, this could blow in a certain sequence pushing the leaves off the deck in a certain direction. As leaves are very light this could have problems due to the choatic way they are lifted by the air. Another way would be to fit the decking with a lever (mechanically or electrically controlled) that tips each deck sideways causing any accumilated leaves to fall between the decks and collected underneath. Flick of a switch and hey presto clean decking. Although the collection of leaves underneath would have to be cleared out periodically.
