3 weeks ago I slipped on wet leaves and broke a couple of bones in left hand as I put my hands out to try and protect myself. Have a splint. Been referred to a hospital in central London with a specialist hand trauma clinic. Which is all fine(tho awkward) Thing is the pain is literally as bad as the day I did it - it isn't a fraction better. Still pulsating with pain - surely it should be feeling somewhat better by now??

//you can buy codeine over the counter without a prescription//

PP said that.
Only the low dose if you're lucky.
Yes, I think he meant as co-codamol and similar from his post (but who knows!) X
Codeine 8/500mg is available to buy OTC.

Codeine 30/500mg requires a prescription.

Paramol (Co-Dydramol) are the strongest things you can buy OTC and you can't take for more than 3 days due to being highly addictive.
