i have been led to believe that my bones, although surrounded by nerve endings, actually contain none. if this is the case, why when i fracture my bones do i feel so much pain? i once fractured my leg and spent 3 days hopping around before going to the hospital. the whole time my leg hurt but surely the nerves would not be stimulated as the bone was just cracked.
