I was under the impression that he wanted to leave with a deal. Does anyone know what he's talking about?

He only wants a deal which contains the ‘five pillars’. These are:
A “permanent and comprehensive UK-wide customs union”, including a say in future trade deals.

Close alignment with the single market, underpinned by “shared institutions”.

“Dynamic alignment on rights and protections”, so that UK standards do not fall behind those of the EU.

Clear commitments on future UK participation in EU agencies and funding programmes.

Unambiguous agreements on future security arrangements, such as use of the European arrest warrant.
The "five pillars" make perfect common sense. If Boris can't see that, then heaven help us.
UK: We want a unicorn!
EU: Unicorns do not exist, but you can have pony instead.
UK: We vote against your pony!
EU: We have already discussed this in detail: pony or nothing.
UK: We vote against your pony!
EU: Well, then you do not get anything.
UK: We're voting against your nothing!
EU: You really do not understand, do you?
UK: We want more time to think about it!
EU: For the pony or for nothing?
UK: We want a unicorn!
The five pillars sounds a lot like "Remain" to me!
Leavers argue that they mean we haven’t left. And I can see their point.
Yes, that sums it up nicely, mush.
I don't have faith in the five pillars ;-)
Precisely Davbro. Remain is the only way forward for our country.
I don't have faith in the five pillars ;-)

No wisdom in it is there ag. :-)
Retro, nah budd ;-)
I hope they do not support the deal, as far as I can tell they may have done something about the backstop but the rest of May's non deal remains and that is worse than remaining. No deal is innevitable.
If this idiot gets the deal thrown out then we will exit without a deal.
TTT, as yet no details of what the deal contains have been published.
let's hope so danny.
that's true danny but all the focus has been on the backstop, that is the main reason that the HOQ rejected it. The PM seems to have come up with something to fix the back stop issue. No one has really mentioned the rest of it, eg £39bn payment, so I wonder how much of May's original deal remains.
I’m with TTT on this, but don’t share his confidence that we’ll end up with no deal.

The amount of nonsensical ideas that Jeremy Corbyn comes out with, does anyone know what he is talking about?

And surely The SNP are unlikely to vote for any deal, no matter what’s in it.
All the 5 pillars does is ensure anything that complies completely will ensure we remain in the EU. The EU ain't going to agree much like it with someone outside of their fiefdom. Otherwise it's pure fantasy land, pie in the sky. This lack of reality simply underlines why no major party is fit to take over governing yet. (BP a possible exception if they got sufficient votes.)
Some in labour have also said they would negotiate a deal then campaign against it.

Idiot people with idiot ideas.
