Oh yum for you gin drinkers, if you see it you must try Loch Measc gin I bought it whilst down south recently.
Absolutely gorgeous and very drinkable

Tilly, given a choice I say Bombay Sapphire over Gordon’s, for example. I’m not sure if I’m influenced by image and advertising or if I really prefer the taste. I suspect in a blind tasting I wouldn’t know the difference.
Nor me, Clover. A gin and tonic is a gin and tonic. :-)

I tried gin when I was in my 20s. Tried, but couldn't like it. Tasted too medicinal. I recently tried Opihr gin...it's made with oriental spices including ginger and black pepper. I love it!
One could be forgiven for thinking that lobbing something fragrant into a few bottles of decanted Shop Local mother's ruin and passing it off as 'refined' was the order of the day. :-)
