We need musicians and singers.
I shall play the harp, and ask Naomi to play the empty wine bottles when she has emptied them.
We need a teeth gnasher, a hand ringer, several loud voices, and anything else you can think of.
Any suggestions?
Any volunteers?

and Theland could be going for an AB group tanga......
Their pretty good at playing the bottles, DT ;-)

can they those pale-blue-ites like the Canaries did today....yeah...and the Merseyites won.....good day, along with the England cricket team.

Now just wondering if good ole Henry would be having a Woodie with this thread??
I can play the spoons if that helps.
Land of Hope and Glory
Mother of the Free
How shall we extol thee
Who are born of thee?
Wider still, and wider
Shall thy bounds be set;
God, who made thee mighty
Make thee mightier yet!
I still have the key to the wine cellar ... hee, hee, hee ..... and mibs is the irreplaceable bottle man. Forgotten the word for that particular instrument. Magpipes? Help!!!

Wiz (he knows who he is) may well have been on washboard, thimble always at the ready - or was it paper and comb? Applications invited for replacements for spoon player - knock knees preferred - and trapeze artiste extraordinaire. Must have own knitted swimsuit. Dropped stitches de rigueur. :o)
Brilliant pastiche Naomi. Now this wine cellar sounds a bit fishy....which scale are we talking?
Fishy? No indeed, Togo. A perfect little niche located In the basement of a 5th floor council flat. Where else?
The basement of a 5th floor council flat would be the 4th floor, I fear they have already consumed the wine.
I have an oud - but one of the strings is broken - and a tambourine
I can do piano and guitar... and I have literally just bought a flute... can't play it yet... but give me a chance and I'll help...xx
The flute is a wonderful thing, I wish we'd gone that route with our eldest instead of a clarinet.
Lol. Quieter? X
Well, there is that but such a pure sound.

A harp, or as we say in Liverpool, a narp, is a vocation not a tune machine.

My knees are quite percussive.
/// can they those pale-blue-ites like the Canaries did today ///

Wey-hey ! ! ! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
When I was a young soldier I was a Fanfare trumpeter.

I can still play the fool! :o}
My daughter has played at the RAH on three occasions; once in the National Festival of Music for Youth and twice in the National Brass Band Championships, as in the film Brassed Off. In fact her music tutor featured in Brassed Off. That was Jim Shepherd. One of my granddaughters plays the cornet and another plays the flute. Do they qualify for the AB Symphony Orchestra?
