It's that time of year, so just interested to hear about your holiday weight gain. Who has put on the most weight during their summer holiday?
Maybe you had a very active holiday and came home weighing less?

I put on 6 pounds during my fortnight away

I will tell you when I get back but I always lose weight on holiday because I walk and swim masses more than I do at home.

Good for you, Prudie :) I am really careful about what I eat and drink at home but pig out on holiday. I expect to lose the weight within three weeks - until Christmas.
Greatest weight loss on holiday was first trip to USA I lost 32lbs!
I never put weight on when on holiday. My appetite is very dependent on my activity levels. I don't even drink much as I find I'm thirsty for water more so than wanting an alcoholic drink.
I expect one of the locals found it, Rockrose

Bloody hell!!! I usually, well mostly put on pounds on holiday. I love eating out and sampling the local cuisines.
For me to lose weight on holiday, I would have to be locked up in hotel room and the key thrown away.
I gained half a stone on my recent holiday. I thought it would go having got back home and not eating restaurant meals, but no it’s still there and a bit more.
I went to Sorrento for 5 nights in May and put on 3 lbs. Was walking a lot so I can't really understand it. Must have been the gelato.
Summer has just started.
No holiday planned.
Hi HC it was before my op and most days we only ate 1 meal and a snack, and we walked a lot (for me st the time) and drank a lot of fluids also almost every hotel we stayed at had a pool so I was swimming twice a day too.
Unfortunately I came home and went back to my old habits

I'm glad I'm not the only holiday glutton :)

There is no way that I could stick to my healthy diet if I didn't have my holiday binges to look forward to. I don't go particularly mad but the glasses of wine, the cooked breakfasts and the odd bit of cake make a huge difference.
