I remember one bloke took me out in the 70s to an Italian restaurant. We had lovely food, nice wine, and he gave me roses. He drove me home, and asked if he could come in for a coffee. I laughed and said my mother will be hiding behind the door, she will make you one. He changed his mind. I cooked for him next time, he was a perfect gentleman. I wondered what i was doing wrong.
I was famous for my cleavage, if I'd opened any more buttons ....
I was definitely of the if you've got it flaunt it type. I just found men didn't fancy me.
//At this time of year, it is often a necessity to get blotto as cheaply as possible//
What a shame you feel that way, after all Christmas is the time for sharing goodwill amongst all.
For a good Xmas booze choice either check recommendations here at AB, or many newspapers seem to have a "connoisseur" making decent recommendations in their magazines.
Germany produces some of the best white wines in the world, Blue Nun was the stuff they wouldn't drink themselves, it was exported and it put off so many people from trying the amazingly good others.
Our favourite comes from a small family run vineyard by Lake Constance [Bodensee] it isn't exported, like many others from the smaller vineyards, it is so good it gets consumed by the locals.
It's good to be strange Rowan and Emmie, makes for a more interesting life. I'm strange, that's why I'm with the man I'm with now, he doesn't like ordinary because he's a flaming weirdo too. I'm strange, he's stranger :)
And THAT btw was a most beautiful post you made about your wife Theland :) x
