I am from Lancashire and so have never had a Yorkshire because of the enmity between our counties.

I am curious however. You heat them then what? Pour gravy inside? Put peas and carrots in the hollow and pour gravy over? Or eat them as is? I do not intend to eat one however because they are not from Lancashire.

Also I have never had a 'wrap' because I do not know what they do or are. I did check out the folding technique on You Tube but the key thing is are they raw? do you heat them? Do they taste of dough? What is the point?

Most grateful for advice.

I'd be very wary at your away match with them Latics, Ark....if you meet them in't Cupp down there, this season.....
I wouldn't even dare chant 'who ate all the pies' ;-)
After usual hot Sunday roast beef & yorks for lunch. The best is Sunday supper of dry crispy yorkies filled with left-over cold roast beef & sprinked with salt.

Roast an extra large topside joint with lots of yorkies & eat left-overs all week - lush.
I love Yorkshire puddings, always had them with a roast on Sunday. My dad when young used to have them as a starter before Sunday lunch, mind you he was a Yorkshireman.

it's like lamb when cold, far better....and cold roasties, just crisped up.

I always have my Yorkshire Pud as a starter with home made Blackberry Vinegar.

There is only one way to eat a Yorkshire pud and that is any way that takes your fancy.
