I have Clinic today. Not really looking forward to it.

They’ll want bloods but they usually give up as they can’t get me to bleed (isn’t the first time I’ve been accused of not sharing) I haven’t been able to get them done at my surgery. So I’m going to compromise with them there.

I know EXACTLY what they are going to say BUT in my defence my usual routine has been upset and I HAVE been trying hard. But they don’t always see it that way.

Wish me luck I might need it. No doubt I’ll be back later with my tail between my legs.

Have a good day folks whatever you do x

Can you come with me Kvalidir? Double hit they might listen. I know I have a good team there and everything but I feel they forget this half the time.

Thank you Minty x
Nurses at the GP practice can't get the blood out of me either Queenie BUT doctors get it out in a split second. So good luck for today.

Thanks JJ. The nurse at my practice can but she can only get it from my hand and that takes a while as they want a lot. Will see what happens xx
and getting it from the hand is very painful - a couple of friends of mine have to get it from their feet and that's painful too.
I hate clinics, I've no veins for blood either :( I was once like ummm and had 'lovely veins', the blood bank loved seeing me coming, I was even called a bleeder at one stage, maybe my heart is getting to hard now I've seen too much that the blood just limited to my own body and i won't share anymore :) I won't say I'm heartless as had an ecg at last clinic I was at and there was definitely a heart in there :)

Best of luck QoM
mine is taken for between the wedding band finger and the middle finger - sore out :( used to take it from my feet but I wear bandages now and they can't touch them anymore

I don’t find it painful to be fair. I have a friend who has to have it from her feet and she says she’d rather have a baby! But I guess in certain cases it’s the only option available.

Last time Ducksie mines was right in between the knuckles of my index and middle finger - still got the mark. So you have my sympathy.
That's sore QoM - hope it's not as bad today for you x

Me too, although it has occurred to me I had arm bloods done for clinic in January so I might get off this time!

Cross your fingers!
Hope all goes well Queenie, I have trouble giving blood as well.
I don't know if this works but I was told before going in to get the bloods done - keep your arm raised really high.
