You won 9 golf balls!! Don't know if this is good or bad!!!
Haven't you got any balls???
That brings back memories.I used to play at Northcliffe and I think I think might still hold the record for the lowest net round of 57 off a 15 handicap which was immediately pulled to 8.Happy days.

Danny, I was the only one in our group who got on the green at the 18th, and lipped out for the birdie. Git! A 57 is excellent. Great round there!

Sharon, you can never have enough golf balls. The best ones, Titleist Pro-V1, can cost £48 per dozen. These were Srxion, still not cheap, costing £32 per dozen, so it's well worth it to acquire them like this, which is how I normally do it!
10CS, Sounds like you maybe a bit of a bandit.
Question Author
Danny, I used to play off 6 and could usually score under 80 gross quite regularly, but age and a bad shoulder injury have pushed me up to 15. I want to get it down but it looks unlikely.

And it won't happen tomorrow either as the course is on fire! Another grass fire in Greater Manchester. Might be a good thing if it burns down some of the trees!
well done.. I played off 8
Before having to retire after a back operation I was playing off a four handicap.
10CL. Where's your course? I assume it was Northcliffe in Bradford.
Question Author
It was. But that's not our course. I'm a member of Heaton Park Golf Club in Manchester. We had a day out at Northcliffe yesterday. Never played it before but was very impressed and really enjoyed it.
Ah! A good day out on my side of the Pennines.
Question Author
Unfortunately, I can't say much about what I saw of Bradford. Not impressed at all. And on the way there, a flatbed had shed it's load at a roundabout just off the M606, which took half an hour to get through. But still an enjoyable day!
