John Surprises Janet......

Janet lets John book places to stay....she likes to be surprised....

She is thrilled and surprised to be spending their first night in a little Belgian woodland in a three room well-being Zen hotel...... :-)

John is just surprised......he had missed the Zen bit......and is confused by all the little extras on offer......there is no way he is going to be covered head to toe in mud and then walked on by two Belgian wrestlers....

Janet and John are in the Oriental room......it is dark red....and black....John will need treatment for the bruises he acquires bumping into things.....but not from the wrestlers.....though he has had an unexpected treatment when he discovers the shower only has cold water....

Janet is enjoying the balcony......she thinks it's very civilised to be in a well being, Zen hotel that provides an ash tray and wine glasses..... :-)

Janet is even more impressed with John's choice when she finds two bottles of wine on the breakfast table......

John is amused by the shower facility - which is in an pretty alcove with only a couple of swing doors for privacy - and even they are pierced with many large holes in keeping with the Moorish theme for the room.

Janet is less amused ... and John is now banished to the balcony for the next 15 minutes.

But ... the shrieks from indoors indicate that all may not be well with the temperature of the douche ...

Janet is not so sure they will be allowed back when she spots the design John has made with the little rake in the sand in the Zen garden......... :-(

However....she is no longer worried about them....in his haste to dash out onto the balcony to admire a humming bird moth John forgot about the low hanging chandelier.....

John in now nursing a sore head and looking for the cocodamol..... :-)

I went to Belgium many moons ago. They make an exceedingly nice chocolate Truffle - not the type the pigs sniff out.

Enjoy yourselves, are you going birdwatching? My little boy, Frankie, loves doing that.

I like Belgium, Wolf...and chocolate truffle.....we are heading for Switzerland......and some walking and birding.....make sure Frankie just watches the birds... :-)
