Give this lecture by John Lennox a fair hearing and then I would be interested in your comments.
Thank you.

Agree nailit....me too.... Life has more things to cope with than those who actually can't believe in themselves...sad innit x
Its like posting a thread saying that I'm against the commercialisation and over indulgence at Christmas and been accused of been angry at Santa!!
Theland, I am reminded of an incident in the Royal Air Force. A young officer, leading a squadron of men past the saluting dais was somewhat nervous and forgot to give the necessary command of "eyes right". The Air Commodore taking the salute waited for a moment and then said " Say something Flight lieutenant, even if it's just goodbye".
I'm hoping you will say soon something in reply to my question and preferably not goodbye.
Theland, at 00:27 Sun. Nonsense. You could try doing a bit more research, but failing that you could try examining the handiwork of he who created the universe and everything in it with a rational eye. It’s my guess you’ll do neither.

Bad news Naomi. You are talking utter rubbish.
The evil referred to is not a moral evil but I bet it hurt all the same to those on the receiving end of it.
It was a punishment for turning away from God.
If you disagree then give your reasoning and source.
Theland, This is the first option that google offered me. It will do for this purpose..

//רָע means "evil". The same as it does everywhere else in Hebrew Scriptures…. Why would you think it would be different here than anywhere else?”//

I dread to think who invented your interpretation. And there’s me thinking you believe the bible. Tut.

"Got Questions"
Come on Naomi. You know it does not mean moral evil.
A person commits a crime, tried and sentenced to,prison. He has had, "evil" done to him, but it is entirely just.
Bad news, Theland. It is what it is. Stop worming.

You are always a bit short on references.
You cannot argue with the content of Got Questions that I posted.
Do you have another referenced source to disprove it?
Theland, Isaiah 45.7 is a very short verse that speaks of opposites -light/darkness, good/evil. The message couldn’t be clearer. I’ve given you an unbiased reference but if that isn’t enough, you can very easily research it yourself simply by googling the original word. No, hang on, I’ll do it for you.

‘Got Questions’ is far from impartial. It is a conservative evangelical Christian organisation and, as such, if it spots something that is at odds with the message it intends to convey it makes every effort to explain it away – and those intent on believing only that which isn’t at odds with the message they want to hear, lap it up.

Theland, if you want to continue telling us that God created the universe, then you must accept that he created it – warts and all.

Your worldview colours everything you say. You only ever consider the atheist supporting evidence. Show me the evidence that shows that God created the moral evil we all abhor.
Isaiah 45.7.
