Give this lecture by John Lennox a fair hearing and then I would be interested in your comments.
Thank you.

Yes Mamyalynne - We R and S ABers are a special breed.
Like dogs with a bone we fight and snarl and bark, but really, we love and respect each other.
Well I do to them, even if after a session on here they all grab there marker pens and scrawl my name on their lavatory walls.

Isaiah 45:7 refers to the suffering imposed by God on those who disobey Him.
It is not a reference to Him creating moral evil to unleash on an undeserving world.
Check it out in your handy copy of the Ancient Greek language that I am guessing you all keep next to your Gideon on the bedside cabinet.
Shall I shut up now or are we all enjoying ourselves?
So we are all required to learn Greek in order to understand what God's word says?
Even that would be a bit pointless as the verse quoted was from the Old Testament, written in Hebrew. You really don't know the Bible very well do you?
Question Author
Nailit - Touchez!
My mistake but a little research reveals the meaning of the word as I have suggested.
So God requires us all to become Hebrew language scholars as well as Greek language scholars to understand his word?
Question Author
No. You can type in 45:7 yourself and get answers to explain the apparent problem.
But it's not my problem.
Give yourself a slap on the back.
Sorry O-G , tenacity not one you know?
Question Author
Take no notice Mamyalynne. He gets confused.
//No. You can type in 45:7 yourself and get answers to explain the apparent problem.//
Good job weve got the internet eh? Otherwise all of us would be struggling to understand Gods word. What, with all these 'apparent'' problems that it seems to contain an all.
Its almost as if God want us to think that it was written and put together by mere mortals.
Question Author
Why are you so angry at the God you don't believe in?
Question Author
Yet another "translation" excuse.
Question Author
Vulcan - Lazy. Why Sony you type in WHAT you believe, and WHY you believe it. Then we can all throw darts at YOU because you had the balls to stand up and be counted? But maybe you haven't.
Question Author
Don't (typo)
Theland, I referred to your answer on 00:27 6/5/18 as another translation excuse because that is exactly what it is.
I quote from my bible, dated 1872.
"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace and create evil: I the Lord do all these things".
Perhaps you could explain how you translate that into "suffering imposed by God on those who disobey him".
If the Bible doesn't say what you want it to say, simply make something up....
Theland...surely people aren't angry 'at the god they don't believe in' how can they be when IT doesn't exist. I'm sure they or just me even... Are angry at the fools who spout this nonsense..... because there's none so blind who will not see! Well.... don't WISH to see. You are here IMO to stir the excrement and get some sort of excitement or sexual(?) stimulation...well who knows... from your posts.... Sigh..bet I won't get best answer *Chortlesplutters*
'Chortlersputters was... Lol. Lol... Not even a rude word jeeeeezuzzzssss fmc!
//Theland...surely people aren't angry 'at the god they don't believe in'//
dunnitall, I cant even be bothered replying to people who say that I'm angry at God. Once they start coming out with nonsensical statements like that any further reasoning is out of the window.
