...for me to get fed up and even a little grumpy....but this constant rain is getting on my bits......

It has now been over six months since we sat in tee shirts or strappy tops....on the patio.....smiling faces to the sky.....legs stretched out....drinking chilled wine....

I think it's time to take Janet off on holiday to find some sunshine......and no bloody wind blowing the fences down......

That's my little rant over.....x

I shall let Janet tell you I think...... ;-)
I'm so fed up of this rain too, which is all the more depressing as we're not having a foreign holiday this year. Fingers crossed for sunshine in St Ives.

I intend to make up for it next year and we still have a honeymoon to book. Sri Lanka + Maldives is looking quite attractive atm.
Been lovely here the last three days. Very warm, too. Lawns cut, bit of weeding and even sitting in the sun. Overcast today though.
I have a few spare rooms Gness, bring yourself, some friends and perform your disasters here for a change ;-)
I'm fed up with this weather too. Cant get outside to sort the garden out, cant get outside to go for walks (well we can but I hate getting wet), cant get away somewhere hot because we are all too much in a muddle with moving house (Mr BM moves in next week) and funerals and stuff.

Still I suppose I can console myself with watching the Marsh Harriers in the field. I'm a bit blown away that I can watch these amazing birds from my living room.
Never seen a marsh harrier (more's the pity), but here in the Cotswolds since the start of the year for the first time I've seen red kites wheeling above the village. Never seen here before - must have made their way up from the Chilterns, where they've established themselves in the last few years.
I'd never seen one until a couple of weeks ago Goodgoalie!! Now they are quite regular. From the garden we also regularly see Red Kites and Buzzards and a rather grumpy Sparrowhawk can be seen in the garden from time to time.

And the little birds?! Wow. But we are VERY spoilt.
