Nice job, anthro...that was really decent of you...yes, I would have definitely stopped too..and have done a couple of years ago,for a limping, cut, cocker spaniel-cross in a road between Bugibba and Ta' Qali, whilst working in Malta..came over to me and could see he must have been hit by a vehicle..placed him gently in back seat with a towel I had in the boot...I knew there was a dog centre, with hospital, just on the outskirts of Valletta, so just headed for there, and made sure he was given treatment....stayed there for a couple of hours with him..no chip or collar with details..was staying in Malta for another 2 weeks, so asked to be informed of his progress in the next few days. Got called a bit later than a week, but told expected full recovery, leg healing nicely and would be put in for re-homing soon. Went to see him later that day....he seemed to remember me, as his tail was wagging frantically, and got licked alot :-)
