I like cats, I also like dogs but my favourite animal is the Wolf.

I am glad that this boy got home safely. I wonder if anyone would have stopped to pick him up - if I could drive I would probably by the idiot who tried to.

lol i drive thru beenham on my way home usually. I probably would have stopped!
Not sure I would have tried to pick him up, but I would have done something I'm sure. Lovely animal.

You wouldn't expect to see a Wolf on the loose - people would initially assume that it was a dog. Picking him up would perhaps have been safer than picking up a hitchhiker.

bednobs - your drive through Beenham is a lot safer now - they've caught the wolf and banned the Tarrant.
I saw him being led quietly away on a dog lead....
I thought he was rather nice !

mikey - really? Was it much bigger than your wee lad?
About 1000% bigger Wolfie !
Question Author
Size doesn't matter though - your wee lad would have terrified any Wolf.

I like a happy ending ☺☺☺
Wolfie....not these days I'm afraid.

Little Willy is 16, losing his sight, his hearing isn't too clever and I am going to have to make that one-way trip to the Vets at some point this year I suspect.

He has reached a good age. It is going to be hard to say goodbye to him. He has been a part of your life for a long time.
Yes, you are 100% correct Wolfie. If I had someone else to take him to the Vet. he would have gone last year. But I'm a terrible coward.

I don't think he is in distress as such, although he keep bumping into the furniture !
wolf = dog

the DNA is 100% identical and so are the same species hence....

or in 19th century terms - a wolf-dog cross is fertile and this shows they are the same species. ( unlike mule or lyger or tygon )

apparently the same genes for goo-goo eyes, looking cute, etc are present in the wolf too.
Yes, I would stop if it was safe to do so.
glad it had a furrytail ending.

There are some dog/wolf hybrids but I am not sure if they can be legally kept as pets. My flat is on the second and third floor of a city centre building, it may not be suitable. :-)
