Bang on all you like tora I don’t mind :-)
TTT...this is the tactics of the playground....he is just confirming how childish he is.

Notice the body language !
Good move by Donald Trump- he certainly doesn't like to be taken for granted!
it could be seen as 'buying votes'

Isn't there a name for that type of behaviour?

Man is a twonk.

so you think they should give money to their enemies then mikey?
// Why should they fund those who vote against the US?//

where the US marches out - the Russians march in ( for free ) and ask - would you like to be our slaves for a few roubles ?

'whaddam I praddling on abart den ?' Suez 1956 ( see The Crown now on Nedfligz) and wind forward - Tanzania, Syria

and you dont even have to vote against them
when the president of the US of A told the Poles he was gonna ("I'll tell you whaart - I am gonna withdraw 'murican troops and you can pay for it all yourselves with the arms you buy from us") withdraw US troops - how the dumb Polaks clapped and looked over their shoulders to see if the Russians were coming ( back)

'merica is Great and the World is Free !
the U.S. buy there friendship, about time they got a smack in the face
Surely we should be celebrating the US turning it's back on imperialistic ambitions around the world? Whether by buying influence with hard cash or suppressing apposition by military means. After all, Great Britain is widely criticised for having used similar methods in the past.
He certainly is TTT but the Trump haters cant see through their red mist to admit anything he does is right, even when it is.

Usual name calling as well I see, we all know what that means!
Reminds me of The Mikado: was it Pooh Bah who ‘had a little list’?
Aid isn’t really about altruism, it is about buying influence.
If the US isn’t bothered, I am sure Russia and China will only be too glad to take up the opportunity.
They wouldn't be voting against the US but against the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. Bullying countries into voting against their conscience by threatening to withhold aid it clearly thinks should be given (or they'd not already being doing so) is pretty low. It won't make the US many friends and most probably turn those who were tolerant of the US, anti. It indicates more than just about anything else so far what standard of president he is.
TTT

"so you think they should give money to their enemies then mikey?"

Does criticising someone make them their enemy?

Are Theresa May the enemy of Trump, after he criticised her when she said that he was wrong to retweet the Britain First clips?
What will the punishment be for the countries the US doesn't send aid to I wonder? Or are they above censure?

I suspect nothing will come of this.
Hillary Clinton memorably said of Trump during the election campaign that his tactic seemed to be to release rabbits for the press to chase, the effect being that they spent so much time chasing the latest rabbit that his policies got overlooked by them and were never scrutinised.
I suspect this is another rabbit.

well gromit if they are voting against the US then they are not actually buying influence are they?
//was it Pooh Bah who ‘had a little list’?//

defee-er - defee-er ! to the Lord High Executioner !
(allow your voice to go really high on that one)

Pooh-bah had a whole load of titles innit ?
President of the US - Leader of the Free World - Head of NATO Head of SEATO - head of Trump org

just like Mr Trump
Bang on Mr trump ( I meant to say )

isnt he the one who grabbed three women by their knicker gusset - lny he used a different word

bang on indeed Mr Trump
// Aid isn’t really about altruism, it is about buying influence.//

What TTT said. If the US is spending money to buy influence, and the supplier isn't delivering, they'd be daft to keep paying - unless of course influence is being delivered in areas other than UN votes, and that will also be withdrawn.
That is not the sort of "influence" that is desired.
In any case, it isn't only countries in receipt of aid from the US which oppose Trump on this. As I said earlier, are they simply let off these strong-arm tactics? It really IS the politics of the playground as mikey said, by a president who is a growing embarrassment to his country.
