Today was a day for a long soak in the bath......washed my hair and lathered on a hydrating mask......face pack on the face.....well obviously ....and settled in the suds with a book....large print as the glasses keep steaming up.....and.....

My electric awning began to go out and in........out and in....like it's needed today.... :-(...and then the power went off.....

Slithered out and looking more like something from the deep than Ursula Andress coming out of the sea, I clambered onto the bonnet of the car to sort the fuse box contraption......
I lost the bath towel on the way......how do they keep them on in films?......
All was well there for a change......stupid place for it to be......half way down the garage!

Back into the bath to shower off the products promising to make me beautiful......but the pop up plug was stuck......back into the garage for a bowl to empty the bath enough to use the shower.....and the doorbell chimed......
Well no way was I answering it now....unless Stephen Fry was on the step......though looking in the mirror I don't think even he would have been welcome....or hung around for that matter....

Luckily the rain stopped and there was plenty of wind to blow dry my hair on the patio.....where I spotted the men in the field up the pole fixing the wires......we waved......

That, NoM is why the wine is open...
And now the sideways rain is back.....the soakaway drain is overflowing....the road is flooded and if the water comes through the dining room ceiling again I may finish the bottle..... :-)

I feel rough if I'm honest. Just permanently tired but at least the bloating is settling. No nausea or vomiting, thankfully.
that's good though, sure you are on the folic acid by now..just watch it around weeks 13 and 14, and then a good diet and exercise as you see fit.....says he but we went through an ectopic and four other miscarriages, two babies to the good though, perfectly healthy and insane now.
one at 36, the other 40 for the ex-missus.....
sorry got her ages wrong, 38 and 42....
Another ectopic was my biggest fear but I'm gaining more confidence by the day that everything is normal this time.
well, if it's any reassurance, we went from ectopic to a healthy baby.....fingers and toes crossed for you, NoM.
Thank you. I can't wait for my first scan.
