Up your bum, no harm done? Meaning your being precious , get over it? I'm not a Geordie but that's how it reads to me.
Was this a serious question? Whilst not wishing to introduce the seamier side of life into proceedings, the expression has direct sexual connotations I'm afraid. All I'm prepared to say is that it refers to a rather primitive form of contraception.
Isn't it strange how the word bum is accepted in this politically correct society, yet words like **** and *** are not? What a weird world we live in?
no it doesn't blue peter, noxlumos is right
Have to disagree with Joko and agree with Blue Peter...in my younger days the saying was "one up the bum, no harm done" - as BP says, the "no harm" meaning that the woman wouldn't get pregnant...
Yea, thats wot i no it as 2! I no a lot of lads who say that.....
