Just se up my new 4k tv. Did have the source selected via scart from my Sky+ box, but changed it to The hdmi1 port. When changing channels a narrow white bar briefly appears on the bottom of the screen. Hdmi1 1080@50hrtz some programs come up as
Hdmi1 576@50hrtz. Does this info show what picture quality is shown? Thought 4k was 3800.

You can only get a 4K picture if the source is 4K. If Sky are broadcasting that programme in HD then that's what you get.

only Sky, BT, Netflix transmit in 4k as far as i can see
