I keep having dreams of being hit by a truck. I have this dream about once a week. The environment in the dream always changes and so does the automobile. Last night is was a plow that ran me over and it was snowing out. Sometimes I die in the dream, sometimes I survive. I also control the outcome occasionaly. Last night I died after being hit by the plow but then I wasn't happy with that so I made myself only have a cut in the back of my head! Crazy.
What do you think this dream could signify?

lol Ill have you know Im a woman, and I was hit by 'trucks' in the dreams...wouldn't you agree that usually men drive trucks? So wouldn't it be that Men are poor drivers?
dream are weird but i do believe that they have a meaning (i think there's a name for it) so look out.
in the past i have dreamt about people and places which in the dream i know ive never seen/met, but eventually you do and know thats what the dream was about sorry if i lost you a bit there
you were obviously getting in the way of the very careful and considerate male truck/plow drivers. typical woman.

lol Now why didn't I think of that before? lol
Trucks and plows (Homer Simpson - Mr. Plow?) - big, heavy and unavoidable. But you deal with it head-on, and sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

The Big Gill- Great answer! xx
Look out - behind you!
Your dream means that a recurring event is happening to you at the moment or is going to happen in either your social, family or relationship life, which will affect you emotionally, and in different places. The reason why it is reccuring is because it is an event that is having an impact on you, are you in the process of leaving work? splitting up with your partner? do you travel around a lot for any reason?

You also may be doing something which is not favourable to you or your inner consiousness. You sound like you may have an inner stress or are frustrated about something, hence the damage it is doing to you. (this is represented in where you die, and where you dont die your inner consciousness is letting you know that sometimes the unfavourable thing you are doing is not as heavy as at other times).
The truck is a very nasty thing and you are stressed. You need to take time out and be more free within your self and the dream should stop. Conduct your personal affairs nicely and sort out any people probs you may have, especially family and relationships, which i think the problem is. Stop worrying about money and check your blood count with your GP for anaemia..your body may need more energy.
I think dreams are a way of bringing hidden emotions to the surface, see www.dreammoods.com

Truck
"To see a truck in your dream, implies that you are overworked. You may be taking on too many tasks and responsibilities and are weighing you down.

I had a dream i murdered someone the other week! ha!

Sizzlsquid- Wow.
Many things have changed in past few weeks. My fantastic relationship of 5 1/2 years ended because I want to continue performing professionaly in NYC (muscial theater), I will be leaving soon to go to an audition in Manhattan that will possibly give me professional work for several months (on a cruise ship). If I get that job I will have to leave my two current (boring jobs), and my family. Im concerned about one of the jobs because I make very good money and they want me full time as of September, but I can't give them my word that I will stay here for another year. I want to work professionaly. So it's coming to the point where I need to tell them I won't be staying. My boss is a long time friend.
Because the relationship ended I have surrounded myself with activities to the point of little sleep. I've always been one to push myself to the breaking point as far as staying busy,...and now that Im no longer with my bf..I had to figure out a way to keep my mind off him. The bad thing is I have been drinking much more than I should be. I always feel guilt when I party too much. I started smoking a considerable amount as well when we broke up, but I just quit completely last week . So that's it in a nutshell. I need to take time to listen to my body. You're very wise. Thanks for taking the time and advice xxxx
