my mum has asked me about what a fire stick actually plays...is it monthly cost like a contract..ive seen them for about £35 is that all you have to pay out for one ..what sort of channels do you get ie: films...live sport etc..thx for any answers

The Kodi software is not illegal and neither is watching streamed content.

Even if the Middlesborough prosecution was successful (which I doubt it will be), that is an entirely different scenario. He is not being prosecuted for watching Kodi, he is being prosecuted for selling the box.

The Amazon Stick is an Android device, and you can download the BBC IPlayer radio app. But it is bobbins and was designed for a touch interface, which the Fire Stick does not have. I deleted it.

We got one last week ....my friend set it up for me , downloaded Kodi onto it and it is brilliant.............everything is free...... you can watch any TV programmes incl those from years ago, any movie incl recent releases etc, etc. My friend watched BT sport on hers this weekend so i shall have to ask her how to do that too.
Get an expert to set it up for you.

It connects to the TV via HDMI so as long as your TV has that connection and you have good wifi internet you should be fine.
I believe you can actually buy a firestick with kodi already on it....

Yes roslyn you can, but I have seen them charged at double the price and it is not that difficult to downloiad it yourself!
I installed mobdro rather than kodi as I was told the picture quality was better, watched my footie at the weekend no problem :) (except the results!)

Yes unsureme, the only way to stop ads is to pay for the premium mobdro rather than freemium.
