i'm steering clear of robert de niro today ...
Well Trump did get something right, he kept on saying the result would be rigged.

ah, gulliver me old china, I wondered when you'd muster the bottle to break cover. Even Clinton and co are not saying it was rigged. You alone gulliver must have information the rest of the world do not. Care to share your evidence and reasoning with us?
It must be starting to dawn on some of the liberal left luvvies (or are often not very well educated anyway) that those pesky poor people are not listening to them.

Oh dear, what a shame.

the only answer will be to take away our vote YMB, then we won't be such an inconvenience to them.
It's only Twitter drivel - it's no more important, relevant, or worthwhile reading this pap than it was yesterday, or it will be tomorrow.

Don't read it - that just encourages them!
This from the Lefty's bible, who are also comparing the rise of Thump to the rise of Hitler and Mussolini and are suggesting that "it’s to plan how to block his regime every step of the way forward".

Typical Left their only interest is to block his regime every step of the way forward, never mind the disruptions this could cause to the ordinary American person, just as long as they get their own particular agenda over.

/// Given that, we may see another disturbing Brexit replay. In the week after the Leave vote, hate crimes in Britain shot up five-fold – a figure the country’s police suspected was vastly lowballed. Inspired by their win at the polls, xenophobic thugs were emboldened. Unlike in Britain, those thugs’ hero – the man who stoked our electoral coup – is now in control of the executive branch. But even as we defend our brothers and sisters from attack, the broader fight against Trump’s rule can’t be a defensive one. ///

Sorry TTT I didn't mean to high-jack your thread, my post was meant to be a separate thread.

well if they really are comparing Trump to Hitler etc, they'd be finding ways of appeasing him surely.
AOG; The same Kate Aronoff blames it all on the British Brexiteers - blimey! she previously said, last June;
"Brexit has created the kind of toxic environment where men like Donald Trump thrive and where movements that show a way forward are desperately needed."
I've only vaguely heard of a couple of these people. I do hope they'll cope.
It is a known fact that creative people as a body, and yes this is a generalisation, but I believe a valid one, tend to be more left-wing in their political affiliations.

It stands to reason therefore that such people are going to take to Twitter to voice their dismay at the election of a right-wing president.

But as I said, Twitter is only ever the ramblings of people who believe that their opinions matter to complete strangers, and all such people should be ignored as a matter of course, in order not to encourage the practice.
AH; I endorse what you say, but one only hears from the malcontents who seem to be desperate to virtue-signal; those who are satisfied have no need to bluster.
It's not only the luvvies, here's a bunch of artists whining and showing off, but they by no means speak for everyone, I personally know several artists who are very pleased that Hilary Clinton isn't going into the White House.
