I was introduced recently to a young man called Butters, when I asked my oh later how he got such a nickname oh insisted that is the chaps actual christian name, I don't know if to believe it or not and wonder if any of you folks have ever heard of a Butters.

Sorry about that. My phone seems to have a mind of its own lately, what with annoying predictive text too!
Biccy is this the man you want to have Kids with?

thanks for all your answers, I am now convinced its a nickname but oh won't hear of it, its not his surname as we know what that is, if I meet the chap again I might be rude enough to ask, maybe his mum was addicted to butter while pregnant which made him slip out nice and easy.
I can't believe it's not Butters!
There's a woman who had 13 kids, yes, and called all of them Joel or Joelle.

When asked, "How do you distinguish by them when you want one of them for something specific or a household chore?"

She replied, "Oh, I just call them by their father's surname....."
This one Quoi? Doesn't mention Butters as far as I remember
