Has anyone ever experienced problems with Norton anti-virus?

Ohmigod yeah! It slowed my laptop down to a grinding halt. Now I use AVG Free and Adaware and have had no problems since........ Take it away as I did and the world (and your computer) will be sweeter for it! :)

My friend has had neumerous problems with it.
Norton does what it claims but is a very big program, and as such really only good on a recent high spec computer with a lot of memory and processing power. Without this it will just slow everything down. As already suggested, you're better off with AVG and Adaware.
