Aw thanks Mamyalynne, I had been thinking for a while that I am a misery right now, and thought I would see what it felt like to put it into words and say it. Thanks for your reply. There are a few reasons for feeling this way, I know I should go and talk to someone about it all but can't summon the energy. Maybe tomorrow . . . . or the next day.
Your doctor will be able to refer you to a counsellor if you feel you need one.
Better to talk than keep all those pent up feelings of sadness in the long run. I wish you well. xx
Doldrums plus lack of energy are common problems, chanel5. I would think that most people will recognise them, I do. Could be hormonal - related depression. A good idea to chat to people, but if it carries on then have a word with your GP. I usually find that forcing myself out of the house and doing something, e.g. going for a walk, helps. I'm off now to plant some primulas. :)
Now you have said there a few reasons why you might be feeling low - write them down in 2 lists - those you can do something about and those that are out of your hands.
Then with help and advice tackle the things you can change , most of all be kind to yourself.
I think most of us at some time feel like that. I agree with jordain, I always find a good walk lifts my spirits. It is always good to talk to someone, whether here or with a doctor or counsellor. Try not to keep things bottled up. I don't think you are a misery, just a bit low. I hope you feel more positive soon.
chanel...we all get like that from time to time...I am finding life after dad very difficult and it is affecting me greatly..but there are days that are not as bad..it will pass....keep your mind occupied and try to look at all the good things in your life...
I think everything has been said Chanel5, but if you can't think of anything obvious that is making you feel this way, then do go to your Doctor for a health check up. Best wishes.x
