With the warmer weather coming, how does everybody cope with the "sweaty sticky" insole problem in shoes when socks and tights are disgarded?. I find that if my feet get too hot and sweaty the glue which attaches the insoles to the rest of the shoe starts dissolving and every time I take my shoes off, the insole sticks to my feet and comes out with it. (I hate those little nylon slip-ons which never stay on my feet and are always visible).

I cannot wear a full shoe without any socks. To that end I always have plenty of cotton socks in stock.

Much to my work colleagues' dismay, I have a tendency to wear very loud, gaudy socks with strappy sandals when the weather is too cool to go without. My manager is threatening to report me to the fashion police.
I use leather insoles so that my foot is not in direct contact with the shoe bottom.
You can buy towelling insoles (I get them in Tesco). I use them a lot in shoes and mules during the summer.
bit of talcum powder in the shoes should do the trick or athletes foot powder also works

I've started using these toe covers, they are non slip and not too bad at being on show
