Do crocks give you sweaty feet? A relative of mine spends a lot of time in Africa and has to keep her feet covered as she has had sand flies burrowing into her toes! However, due to the heat socks and shoes are a bit hot-she wondered whether crocks would be any good or would they get sweaty and cause fungal infection?

I loved crocs as they kept my feel night and cool though it was because they have holes in them which may be a problem if she needs to keep her feet covered.

I found some shoes with lots of tiny holes in so the air gets into your feet but they are not so open.
I'm a recent convert and haven't worn mine a great deal yet. I keep them for when we're away in the caravan as they're great for slipping on and padding around the site and across to the shower block etc etc. I do get sweaty feet, but haven't noticed anything untoward with my crocs.

I have a colleague who's an artist, and who spends most of her spare time on her feet, and she swears by her crocs. It was she who put me onto them, as she said they definitely didn't make her feet sweat.
Hi My husband has a pair to wear around the garden and doing work on the car. His feet never smell but one day they did , he had worn them all day that day.
