I have been given Vitamin D 800 by the doctor as my vitamin level is 44.

Can I still take my Omega 3 supplements with them ?

Thanks Sqad. x
Is there a difference between vitamin D 800 and regular vitamin D tablets?
Copacetic...depends what you mean by " Regular Vitamin D " tablets.

Just a matter of dosage expressed in International Units (IU)

"Regular" is between 80-120 IU whereas Vit.D 800 contains 800IU.
Sammy -I've been taking Omega -3 supplements and vit D at 1,000 I.U under Consultants supervision for over 6 months now without problems.
These are the tablets I am taking as I cant find any useful information on the pack http://groceries.asda.com/product/joints-bone-care/asda-calcium-and-vitamin-d-bone-health-1-a-day-tablets/910001569295
My SIL describes these supplements as 'expensive urine' - a phrase given him by one of the hospital consultants.
Copacetic.....LOL.....like you, i am none the wiser re. how many IUs are in your tablets.
I have no idea, the information they have provided is the typical weight is 5yg and it provides 100% "nutrient reference value"

I suppose I get what I pay for.
my tablets (prescribed by doc) are 25yg + 1000 I.U and 500% NRV

Therefore yours@ 5yg will be 200 I.U which is the recommended daily NRV
