hi retrocop nice to see you out the slammer -hope the fruit cake with file in helped you out ;-).

Ummmm Andy and abbreviation cannot be uttered in the same sentence.
;- ) lol!

Well thank you. Do you mind if I keep the file. The way things go I might need it unfortunately although I am trying not to be drawn in. :-)
From time to time I do get a little tired of the predictable bickering which often kills the thread of debate. I am (so Mr. J2 tells me) a very understanding woman. I do, however, like the many and varied personalities who contribute and some people come over as folk I would like to sit in a pub and have a drink with and call a friend.

No, I'm not a sad isolationist - I'm living a very full life (just came back from a meeting of the committee of the local Community Centre about planned events) and am very happy. I just like this site and all the news you help me to access and.... and..... lots. :0 xx
^^^ retrocop----I can always send you another file, but please keep up the good resolution. I, for one, missed your contributions. At worst I suppose a few of us could form an escape committee. We'd have to work on electronic tunnelling a bit. :) xx

I would willingly travel to a pub of your choice and have a tete a tete with you and your OH over copious vin rouge et bier. I can think of nothing more delightful at the moment, Sante. I will try not to get shafted by fools in the future. Always enjoy your input on AB, J'embrasse. Is that right ? :-)
'Je t'etreinds' is more accurate, retrocop, but I understood perfectly well. Colloquially, lots of French use 'embrasser' (which really refers to 'embracing a religion' sort of thing) as meaning a hug these days! How pedantic and tiresome of me, sorry. Sante! (I can't do accents either!) :) x
