A foot deep!!! Jeez, where are you? We are damp and drizzly (near Glasgow)
Send some to Galloway please, bright morning here

Hi albaqwerty, I am in Essex.
Stay indoors Mumsie :)

Morning Alid, could you please send some brightness up a bit?
Misty and mild in the Black Country..I suspected the South East had got it though it's all over the news!
At least it's not as bad as some parts of Europe.
zippo here in Cornwall.....not too bad this morning and I guess about 2C out there.
Very disappointed that nothing in Dorset, grey, damp and also about 2 but feels milder.
I am just over the Crossing & 4-6 inches of snow, but much warmer - as it is thawing underneath. now i can test my snow tyres.
W've only had a couple of inches in South London so I should be able to drive to my parents tomorrow morning and then get the bus to work. I just hope it doesn't go below zero and turn into an ice rink.
Dartford crossing
About 3" here in Leicestershire looks like a Christmas card scene .......
See my posting about strange weather in the night

Ditto.
Probably drifted to a foot Mumsie - its misleading when you look out, its piled quite high one side of our garden but only a few inches in the street.

Yes, must admit it looks worse than what it really is. Has drifted in places to make it look bad. And I am only looking at it from my window, haven't been outside and don't think I will. Am in Colchester by the way.Ann86, you got it about right, thats exactly what it looks like.
Ann86 is right. Leicester has about 4 inches. 12 year old granddaughter texted about 9.30pm last night and just said " So much snow". Can't you hear the wonder in her voice? Walking to church this morning was like walking in very soft sand or thick treacle - but managed to stay upright!
